My wife and I found this place back in November on our way to a Cruise. The owner Dustin was very friendly and passionate about his business. He explained every item on the menu to us and even showed some of the seasonal specialty items that he creates. We told him that it was our Anniversary and he made us some great cannoli and some of his sauted long peppers. Great experience, We told him that we would be back soon. After the cruise we came back and brought our family to experience what we initially did on our first visit. The food was awesome!! My cousin said she'd drive an hour just to come eat here. I'm trying to get Dustin to move to Austin, Texas. The food is so fresh and flavorful. They do not use microwaves or heat lamps so when your food is done you get it. Hot and fresh! This is our new go to spot! Oh and the staff...: simply awesome! See yah in Austin!!

Are you kidding me?!? I feel like I'm in Italy. Possibly the best Italian food I have EVER had. My wife is Italian...

  • *****

This is a fun restaurant. The food was fairly good, the wait staff professional and the prices very competitive.
I had spaghetti and meatballs. I prefer a more "tomatoy" taste to my sauce, but this is more personal preference than a critism of the restaurant. The pasta is obviously made on the premises. Lots of people on a week night here. Fun atmosphere. I will be back!

Great food and excellent service! Best ever meatball per our picky 8 year old. Our new favorite spot in Cocoa.

  • *****

Zarrella’s is one of those rare restaurants where it really doesn’t matter what you order. It’s all that delicious.

  • *****

Excellent on food, service and cleanliness everytime! My favorite Italian restaurant !!

  • *****

Food and service amazing! Worth the visit even on a busy night.

  • *****

The service is over the top. Attentive, accurate, professional. The food was great for all the meals in a large party. Great time, will make it a favorite. Excellent concept by the owner.

  • *****

Unbelievably good! So hard to find such a perfect thin pizza an Zarrella's nailed it! I am locked in as a full time customer now!

  • *****

Definitely not a pizzeria! Open spaced Italian restaurant that also serves pizza.
After ordering our meal from a interesting menu and very nice specials of the day, they give everyone a cup of delicious pasta fagiole. Excellent taste.
The appetizer meatball and ricotta is superb. The red sauce with it is one of the best I've had. Rich and hearty.
The lasagna bolegnese was excellent. Good portion and very tasty. The chicken special was ok. Presentation was nice, but chicken was undercooked and not hot. Tasted good once cooked.
The garlic bread served with entrees was very tasty.

Wine list is diverse and reasonably priced.

  • *****

Great calamari, pizza night - we had delish white pizza w/sausage and the eggplant pizza. Great service (Jay) :) we'll be back to try the veal and some great looking dishes.

  • *****

The Cesar salad was huge. More than enough for two people. Not the best Cesar i have ever eaten but lettuce was crisp and fresh.
We ordered the pizza. Meat balls, pepperoni, mushrooms and onion. Very tasty and crust was good but not as crisp as as we like it. Probably will go back but will try the pasta next time. Service was very good.

A must visit if you are in this area

Great pizza, the crust was perfect, sauce amazing and the toppings are incredible. We got mushrooms and ham, the mushrooms were fresh and the ham was in bite sized bits. Delivered to Florida Beer Company with no problems.

This restaurant is worth rerouting our trips down so that we can eat here. Nothing compares to it at home if you want pizza!

  • *****

We love Zarrella's! Food and service is always top-notch. Great for pizza and sandwiches for lunch or for a date night dinner.

  • *****

Enjoyable experience and delicious food, with good service considering the large size of our party.

  • *****

Easy to drive by, not so much once you’ve eaten here! This is a hidden gem in Cape Canaveral that has the feel of a local restaurant but big time when it comes to the food and service. Daily specials that will knock you out of your seat!
    You won’t be disappointed!

We found this place on a visit to Cocoa Beach. The food is great! Everything is homemade. Staff is super nice.

If you are in the area I highly recommend this place. It truly is one of the better Italian restaurants ever eaten at.

  • *****

This is a solid 10 stars. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is amazing. Everything is prepared from scratch for each order. No hot lights with food sitting waiting for the other orders to be prepared. Appetizers are divided at the table by the wait staff, and presented to each person. Incredible daily specials complement the menu. From the wood fired pizzas to the main dishes, you won't find a better dining experience. Special nights include 1/2 price wine nights. Reservations required for large groups. Sit at the bar at watch the magic of the chefs. Sing along with "Sweet Caroline." The best restaurant on the beach, and nothing compares within 100 miles.

  • *****

    Great food!!!

  • *****

Enjoyed celebrating our one year anniversary in Cape Canaveral! The Zarella's staff enjoys working there and they run a tight ship! Food was prepared quickly, each dish was inspected by the owner prior to being sent out, and it all tasted amazing. The servers were on top of their tables and extremely knowledgeable about their menu/specials.

We sat at the wine bar and got a great pizza tossing show. To the person who posted a review about how they do not use the wood oven... every pizza we saw prepared went directly into the wood burning oven, please ignore the non helpful reviews.

We were able to join in with all the other guests and sing their signature Sweet Caroline. The owner made it a point to come by and wish us a happy anniversary, and finished the evening off with a plate of delicious cannolis. Certainly will be returning the next time we visit Cape Canaveral!

  • *****

Visiting from NC and got a recommendation from a waitress at another restaurant. Pure fresh Italian food, awesome. Wish I could take this place home with me!

  • *****

Nice varieties great selection really enjoyed the service and pizza sorry I didn't find you sooner

  • *****

A fun and energetic vibe as everyone in the restaurant spontaneously busted into a verse of Sweet Caroline ... service was amazing and food was delicious. We don't eat out much because it's usually just 'okay'... my experience at Zarellas makes me want to dine out there more often and try the rest of the menu! Highly recommend

  • *****

First time visit. Our waiter, Ben, described several specials of the evening with accompanied photos via an iPad. I chose the red snapper and shrimp which was fabulous. My wife asked for a pizza not listed on the menu and they happily obliged. It was delicious - with a thin, crispy crust. The calamari appetizer was also very good, although rather small. Nice atmosphere (other than being quite loud), prompt and friendly service and scrumptious food. Can't wait to return.

  • *****

Fantastic, wood - fire pizza! Friendly staff!

  • *****

I'm addicted to this place. Made from scratch after I place my order. Whoa. The difference blows me away. Now I'm spoiled and won't go anywhere else.

  • *****

We had a party of 6 eating at the end of a long day. The servers, hostess, all of the staff are very friendly, nice, and personable. The food was excellent, from the breadsticks to the pizza, to the veal, all cooked to perfection. An island favorite!

  • *****

My boy Joe was the best waiter ever 5 stars give them to Joe

  • *****

The sauce in the Chicken Sinatra was awesome! Kids loved the pizza. My kids devoured the beautiful desserts served that came with a shot glass of milk! Fun and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

I went to Zarrella's with my husband on our way up the eastern coast of Florida for a weekend trip. This was our first visit. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall near the Port.

The vibe inside is very warm and welcoming and the attention from the waiter (Jay) to the owners was very attentive.

I ordered the Meatball Salad and my husband ordered the combo meal. Both were excellent. As a matter of fact while we were waiting for our meal one of the owners brought out a small bowl for each of us to sample a pasta soup that was very tasty. If this is something new they are thinking of putting on the menu I said absolutely I would order it again.

Zarrella's is a fairly new restaurant that will hopefully be around for many years. It will definitely be on my go to list when I visit the Cape Canaveral area.

  • *****

This is my favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach! The food is great and the staff is beyond reproach. Anything you order is made on the spot at the time of ordering. And the owners are the nicest young men. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their "Sunday Gravy" is delish . Can not say enough. When in CB I eat there at least 3 times a week. You really have to try Zarrellas you won't be disappointed.

  • *****

This is a great place all around. The food was delicious and service was awesome. Will definitely visit again when we are in town!

  • *****

Delicious food and an amazing serving staff!! We were looking for a place with good food and wine but still kid friendly. This did not disappoint. We will definitely be back on our next vacation!!

  • *****

We checked it out on Friday night. They were busy, but no wait. It is a very open space so it can be a little loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation.

Drinks: Pepsi products, boo. No happy hour, boo. At least consider a happy hour! Their house wine was $7 a glass, so it'd be easy to discount a dollar or two.

Food: the pizza was very good. Thin crust, lots of crunch, just like we like it. We also had chicken picatta. It's different than many Italian restaurants, but good. Many places serve it as a cutlet, this was in chunks. The sauce was tasty with a thicker consistency than usual. It came with risotto instead of pasta, which was a tasty variation. We had tiramisu for dessert, very light and delicious! It also came with 2 small cannolis. Yum!

Service: EXCELLENT. Billy was our server. He was funny and attentive. There was also other staff delivering drinks, clearing dishes and so on. All around great job. We will be back for sure!

Great food, service and atmosphere. You feel like your on vacation!
Oh, I am on vacation. Ben is a great waiter!

The Dubzy wings r totally awesome best ever ?????????? Can't say enough but u must try them

  • *****

Wonderful services and great food! Definitely worth going to.

  • *****

Excellent service, food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The chicken marsala melts in your mouth! The linguini and clams are also very good. Finish your meal with a delicious cannoli.

  • *****

This was our first time dining here and it was recommended by our airbnb hosts. We got a chicken, onion, arugula, and bacon pizza and it was delicious! You can tell the ingredients are fresh. We also got free wells for checking in! Our waiter was Ben and he was friendly, professional and patient with us as it took some time to decide what to get. Would definitely recommend this place !

  • *****

Ben our server was great. The food was incredible and the music was awesome. We also got free wells for checking in which was a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend.

  • *****

This place was amazing. I forgot to take pictures if the food but it was so good. The service was great from everyone there and our server 'Billy the Kid' knew his stuff. Great personality, friendly, and explained all the specials with great detail. An awesome place that i will definetly return to.

  • *****

Delicious caprese salad, Caesar salad, and pizzas. I especially enjoyed the brick oven pizza. Certainly equal to any pizzeria in New York or New Jersey. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you're in the area

  • *****

We had the eggplant stack'd, ribeye cheesesteak, and pizza for lunch. Everything was delicious! They had reasonable prices and a very clean restaurant. The owner waited on us personally. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back here!

  • *****

Live music was great, great food and drinks. Would definitely go again. Staff was attentive and very accommodating. A++++

  • *****

We were instantly greeted at the door with a welcoming smile and were seated right away. I liked how the specials or non menu items were presented visually using an iPad. The meatball ricotta and red fried mozzarella were delicious! We also had the brick oven pizza with half cheese and cherry tomatoes and half with pineapple and prosciutto (next time would do ham!) My only suggestion is that Italian music be played instead of freestyle to make it more authentic!!

We were visiting Cocoa Beach for our annual week at our timeshare. After several days of hanging out at the beach, my son asked to play mini golf. There are a few different mini golf places but we chose Jungle Village Golf in Cape Canaveral due to it being the cheapest at $5 a person. Zarrella's is located in the same plaza. After our round of golf, we were hungry. The smell coming from Zarrella's was amazing. We decided to give it a try and I'm so pleased that we did. We were seated immediately and our server was extremely attentive. My two sons shared a 15" large pizza for $14. We were given the option of Wood Fired or Brick Oven. We choose the Brick Oven. It was so yummy. They ate 3 slices each! I ordered the Three Cheese Calzone with Marinara $10 lunch special. My husband ordered the Meatball Sub with fries $10 lunch special. He said the meatball sub was good, nothing special. My calzone, however, was super yummy. I asked the server if they had been there long and he said they've been there for 8 months. He mentioned that they were also opening a smaller place in Cocoa Beach near Coconuts. I highly recommend Zarrella's. They have an extensive menu, lunch specials, and weekly promotions. We'll be back again!

Great find! This small family owes Italian Joint is doing food right. Restaurants near the beach can be hit or miss. Tucked into a shopping plaza on the non-beach side it could Be easy to overlook. After a day at the Kennedy Space Center (with less than average food and overpriced lunch) the kids wanted pizza but the adults really didn't. We were sat within 5mins. The whole place maybe seats 100 with a bar facing the kitchen. They changed some of the menus but I love that they used an IPad to explain the new options with photos. We had a friend ravioli appetizer with homemade ricotta filling... Amazing! My non-cheese water son had the meatball app (without the ricotta cheese) also very good. For dinner the kids had pizza one with and one without cheese. Should have asked them to do 1/2 &1/2 as it was too much for either even at a personal size.but very good. I had veal parm which was tender and crispy. My husband had veal osso bucco with homemade papparedell pasta he said was excellent. All desserts come with 2 cannoli and we're also excellent. Billy our waiter was engaging and knowledgeable.. we will definitely come back and you should go now.. like right now!

This was the very best sauce I have had since papa (my dad) was here! The bread, the eggplant, perfect. I was there last tuesday afternoon with my dog. We sat outside at the bistro tables. Met the chefs and what a great staff. The food was excellent. Thank you Dennis and Dennis!

  • *****

The food is delicious, I got the seafood linguini and it was well worth the $25--super fresh and great flavor! Our waitress Emily was really nice and a down to earth cool girl. She was well informed and helpful in choosing a meal and dessert. This is a great restaurant and I'll be back next time I'm in Cape Canaveral!

We have lived in Merritt Island for 15 years. We go out every Friday night on "date night" and have been searching for something different. WE FOUND IT!
We arrived at 4:45p. Plenty of room at bar and tables. We noticed a nice mix of families with young kids, multi-generational diners and "dates" (us!)
We were seated right away and our server, Ben, gave us a short and informative description of Zarrella's and why it is different! After we had our drinks, he pulled out a tablet and showed pictures of tonight's specials. EVERYTHING is made in house. Even the Mozzarella!!! The staff was attentive but not hovering. One of the owner/partners Mike Zarrella spent a few minutes at our table. We saw him check in with many other customers. Surprisingly, he sent us a plate of assorted yummy desserts. He didn't even know it was my husband's birthday dinner.
OH...and the staff...I mean ALL the staff break into singing when certain songs come on. Patrons happily joined in. It felt like an authentic Italian family. The food....comes out steaming hot and perfectly cooked. Chicken Sinatra with Shrimp....and Linguini with Clam Sauce. Garlic Knots, Fresh Spinach...BTW...My husband has a severe shellfish allergy and Ben paid careful attention when we mentioned it. He reassured us the food is prepared separately. We ordered a pizza to go..after dinner! Yes, we will return..many times. There are lots of items I need to try on this varied menu!!

  • *****

The food is so good. So. Good. I thought Italian at a pizza place would probably be so so. I was wrong. The food was amazing. Everything from the breadsticks to the cappuccino. Even the cannoli was the best I've ever eaten. And I don't usually enjoy cannoli. I had linguini and clams, my husband had chicken parm, my son had chicken wing appetizer as dinner. Others in our party had two of the specials, which were both incredibly amazing. We had cheesecake and a berry cake, with delicious cappuccino. Hands down my new favorite place in town. Highly recommend you try it out.

  • *****

Surprisingly great food. We've had the pizza which we think is great, so we tried a sit down dinner. Food and service were terrific. Its a noisy place which prevented the fifth star. but definitely worth the visit. A little pricey for this area.

  • *****

The service is very attentive. The waiter made helpful suggestions. The atmosphere is very lively. The portions are large. You can probably share and entree unless you're very hungry.

  • *****

This place was great and only 8 months new! Awesome, attentive service and amazing food! All the pasta made daily and in house. What to get:

Their Chicken Sinatra was soooo delicious. A thicker creamy sauce with sauted mushrooms topped with shrimp and a side of risotto!

The lasagna daily special was to die for! Very large portion (we split a lasagna and Caesar salad) but one of the best lasagnas I've ever had!

The truffle fries with Parmesan. Yes.

And to pair with it all- the Wild Horse Pinot Noir was a perfect recommendation from our waiter, Ben, who by the way was a fantastic waiter for our group of 5!

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF- this amazing dessert. I could go back for seconds. YUM.

The owner, Michael, was so friendly and told us they are opening another location down the road called Little Z's. Can't wait to try it out on our next vacation!!!

  • *****

We had dinner here the night before our cruise. We had traveled from the West Coast earlier in the day and were exhausted. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and honestly, we weren't expecting much. But, the food and the service were absolutely wonderful! I had the Chicken Marsala with Sinatra sauce and it was amazing. The servers are very friendly. We will definitely eat here again when we return for our next cruise!

  • *****

We ate here twice on a recent visit. Once before our cruise and after the cruise. All I can is delicious. The first time we had some pizza and you can tell the dough is fresh, very good pizza. We also had some specials red snapper the pork chop and both were super. Don't forget desert it was as delicious as the food. I like that they treat you like family.

  • *****

A spaghetti and meatball place when it first opened--but last night the mussels, clams and crab meat were outstanding! Busy, popular new spot, with excellent service

  • *****

Excellent service with waitstaff who interact and aim to please! Delicious eggplant stack and the specials were delightful to our palate. The food focuses on being served hot and well presented with garnishes that add flavor. Reasonable prices, for example a bottle of tasty red wine for $20! Ambiance was comfortable and upbeat! Try it out and enjoy a scrumptious meal and memorable evening!

My wife and i stayed at the Radisson Resort GREAT place aswell . We walked to Zarrella's Italian & Wood Fired Pizza OH MY GOD the Pizza was FANTASTIC and HUGE also the breadsticks were great Margaret (our server) was great as well when it came to explaining all the foods. Would highly recommend this lovely place .

Decided to update my review. Zarellas has gluten free dish items which is a relief to someone who has to eat G-free due to disease. Their wings are REALLY good.

Haven't tried their pizza. It's really frustrating that their website says that they make Gluten free pizza but they really don't. Should update it. A lot of people are dealing with disease and want to be able to eat normal so looking into gluten free flour/crust/whatever night be worthwhile. I know gluten free crusts and flour doesn't come out the same as "normal" pizza but people who have to eat gluten free already know this and are happy just to get what they can.

I've always been treated really great by all staff everyone I've went.

They also gave ice to residents after hurricane Matthew and that was super helpful.

Zarellas is the best pizza place to support around here. Don't bother with Papa Vitos, their food is mad gross and always burnt and inedible. Also no gluten free options.

  • *****

This restaurant was fantastic! They accommodated our party of 25! They served us family style meals. The wait staff was attentive and met all needs that our party had. This is the best restaurant around!

  • *****

Awesome place, terrific addition to our community. All three of us totally had a terrific experience and meal! Welcome to Cape Canaveral and I'm confident the locals are welcoming you with open arms!

  • *****

All I can say is wow, the food and service were of the chart, had some pizza and it was really good and fresh. My son had. ref snapper it was very taste. We had the house salad very taste. had some deserts and they were very good also. Wish I loved to keep going back to try more of there food

  • *****

My husband makes the best spaghetti and meatball dinner, only rivaled by Zarrella's. Eggplant and mozzarella stacks, dubzy sauce on calamari, 5-meat lasagne, Steak Sinatra, their delicious house salad - yum. No rush to get you in and out for a table turnover, just great aromas and a dining experience you'll tell all your friends about. Thanks Dennis, Dustin, Nick, Mike and the staff - and good luck with Little Z's Cocoa Beach dining.... Big Fans - Wayne and Vicki Owens, Cape Canaveral

Had a great dinner before our Disney Cruise. The best service we have ever had. The pizza was delicious and the garlic bread sticks were too! Would definitely do it again. Everyone was so friendly!

  • *****

The pizza was wonderful, but the service was even better. Would highly recommend to everyone.

  • *****

The food was excellent, we had brick oven pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. The wait staff was also excellent. Very friendly and attentive.

  • *****

Delicious, authentic Italian food, they make their own mozzarella. My boyfriend and I love this place. Do yourself a favor and eat here soon.

  • *****

We had the x-large wood fire pizza with pepperoni and the fried mozzarella with red sauce. Both were amazing and our waiter even cut up our fried mozzarella and served each of us!! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

  • *****

Nick did a amazing job! Good was awesome. We wasn't expecting the pizza to be that good. The cheese. The cheese, something about the cheese.
    Worth the stop for sure!

Saturday I was looking for a new Merritt Island place to eat as I am staying in the area. A friend recommended Zarrella's. Husband came up and we went on a date. With the menu choices, and Jay (our server) I felt like I was in NY. Jay was fabulous in explaining the entrees and he reminded me of a beloved brother in law in NY. We ordered the meatball appetizer, The Italian Dinner (pasta, salad, sausage, meatball, and pork) and Linguini Pescatore (lobster, shrimp, lump crab, clams, and mussels). With a Yelp check in you get a free well drink! Marty is not one to rave about food but he went on and on about that meatball and the garlic knots. AMAZING! Both of our dinners were amazing as well-I took a lot of mine home. The flavor was wonderful and authentic and the portions generous. We just couldn't do dessert but I did have Jay's special Cappuccino-he whips the amaretto into the froth. Marty told me that first night that he would drive from Grant (where we live) to eat here (1hr drive).

Sunday I had friends over to swim and told them about Zarrella's- they love Italian food I sent them the info via phone-not sure they would really go that evening. Marty came up for a date after they left and said he wanted to go back to Zarrella's for pizza. This time our server was Ben and he was great. Lo and behold Johann and Patricia were there and they loved it. Marty and I had a wood-fired sausage and mushroom pizza. Each topping was 75 cents-Marty said we got at least 5$ worth of sausage on the pizza. The sausage is made in house daily and I will tell you I am fussy about sausage. This was THE BEST Italian Sausage I have ever had. Marty said it was the best pizza he had ever had.

My friend Jo went on Tuesday-she had the chicken parmigiana and said it was amazing! I can't help it-when something is great I will tell you.

Owners visited /talked with us both nights.

Don't miss this place. Be sure to check out their daily specials( I posted a picture). I cannot wait to go back!

  • *****

Excellent risotto, meatballs and sausage. A diverse authentic Italian menu appeals to all appetites. This is not your typical pizza or Italian shopping strip joint - it's the real thing. Meals made to order. Recommend dinner over lunch.

Pizza could use more toasting; after all, it's supposed to be baked in wood fired oven.

    Updated review:
After our cruise, we stopped here again before leaving for NY. We were craving for pizza, and NY was still far away, so decided to try theirs. Zarrellas did not disappoint us! We asked for thin crust, and well done, and that is exactly what we got. The sauce was flavorful, not too greasy, which means the cheese was high quality. I also ordered the pasta in vodka sauce. Both items were delicious, and the staff was great!

My BF and I stopped here on our way to Fort Lauderdale from NY. After a long drive, we needed a good meal, and that's exactly what we got. The decor was nice, and I like the open kitchen concept. I had the Chicken Sinatra with shrimp, and my bf had the veal parm. Both dishes were delicious, and good portion size for the price. We also had the Cesar salad, truffle fries and eggplant parm for appetizers( yes, we were very hungry), all were delicious!
The staff were extremely nice, and attentive.

  • *****

Oh so yummy. Hidden gem next to a mini golf on A1A. Pizza excellent. Garlic sticks with marinara, delicious. Service attentive but not hovering even though we were one of 3 parties in for lunch on this particular day. It's off the "tourist" path so for those of us who hate the invaders of our cozy coast, it won't be inundated with the rude and ignorant.

  • *****

FABULOUS food! Great staff! Good times!

  • *****

One word...GO! Fantastic service; so friendly; awesome atmosphere. The food (which we ordered a lot of, all came SO fast). We got the parmesan truffle fries, which were seasoned so well and were delicious. Also ordered the garlic knots, and they, too, were so yummy. Our 5 year old got a cheese pizza, and we've never seen him eat so much before! He couldn't get enough of it! He never ever eats the crust of pizza, but he did here! He loved it! Our 3 year old got the kids chicken fingers and fries, and they were good! We ordered the 18" brick oven pizza with meatball as the topping. It was so good. Wish we were in the area longer, as we would definitely make a 2nd trip here if we were. Highly recommend a stop here!

I have ordered from Zarella's countless times and always been impressed and just AMAZED at the quality quantity EVERYTHING!!!

  • *****

    Loved it!
    The food was great

  • *****

Wow. What can I say. Coming back soon. Got the 18 inch with pepperoni sausage and mushroom. Btw mushrooms are fresh not marinated. Great good great music.

  • *****

My husband, Pete and I had an early dinner at Zarella's today. Jay was our waiter. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, service was excellent and prices were reasonable. We definitely will go back!

  • *****

Best beach Italian run by some goodfellas. Ribeye pepperoni pizza, red drum fish, al dente spinach. Tiramisu, complimentary cannoli. Bellisimo.

  • *****

Last night I went and they have the best customer service. I mean they gave me a free meal for a plate that did not take that long to come out and offer free deserts. The Alfredo sauce is to die for, couldn't not stop eating the pasta. Both of my kids and wife loved it, will come back again. Thanks!

  • *****

Just lost a star. We're regulars at lunch and just ordered our first delivery meal.

The Chicken Piccata came in a small container, and the container was only 1/4 full, kind of lumped up in one corner of the container. Less than a lunch serving. Very sad. Six chunks of chicken and a cup of risotto. Maybe. We ordered a salad (thankfully) and breadsticks too. So for $34 (plus tip) we are still hungry. And a little bit angry. I feel we just got the 'tourist-in-a-hotel' serving. Not good. Hopefully this was a mistake, because we're big fans of the place.

  • *****

Awesome authentic Italian food! I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars if I could. Service was awesome! We loved the open kitchen and watching the interaction of the kitchen and staff--All employees take pride in their jobs and it runs like a well oiled machine. I assume the person who was the owner was on staff running food, interacting with customers, and checking in on both. He was genuinely happy and proud of this restaurant which is really cool for a patron to see. Our kids loved the pasta, and the pizza was absolutely delicious!! My eggplant stack was bit under seasoned and the calamari was over salted, which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation to anyone in the area looking for a good Italian meal!

The Best I have ever eaten

  • *****

The service is outstanding and the food is incredible we had the pizza and the chicken alfredo. They were both delicious and very fresh.

  • *****

We received excellent service and DELICIOUS food - most especially their pizza! The best we have ever had! (Cesar salad was large enough for us to share!) Highly recommend!

  • *****

We found this gem while walking from our hotel to find a nice meal. We were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this place. Real authentic Italian food just like Nonna use to make! Their pizza is so amazing and the fried Mozzarella and pastina made my mouth water. The best thing besides the incredible service was the prices. For what you get in food you are paying pennies in comparison. So much food little from my pocketbook! Will be going back again!

  • *****

The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was very flavorful and in gigantic portions. What more can you ask for? We'll definitely be back.

  • *****

Excellent Italian food! Love the meatballs! Glad to find a great Italian restaurant in Cape Canaveral.

Food is so fresh and atmosphere is fun!

I came to Zarellas on Sunday by chance, the restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table. Our server Jay was terrific
He explained the specials and gave us a visual on a tablet which actually helped us make our choices. To begin we had a special mozzarella stack which was layered with tomato prosciutto arugula dressed in a wonderful balsamic dressing topped with shaved cheese. I ordered a Linguine and seafood special and my date had a Chicken Sinatra with shrimp that was delightful. Jay was able to talk us into a great chocolate cake that came with two mini Canolis that were delicious.
Although we had no intention of having dessert I am glad we did. I would like to thank the owners the great chef and especially Jay for making our dining experience a memorable one. We look forward to our next visit.

Came in for dinner during rush hour and was accommodated immediately. Our server presented the specials to us and made them sound irresistible. I chose the Italian American dinner based on his suggestion and was beyond impressed. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the price was impeccable. We will be back often as the food and service were first rate. Finished off with a delicious cup of cappuccino. The best part of our experience was our server Matteo. His table side service was awesome and we would come back just to see him.

  • *****

Excellent Pizza! Great Caesar salad with homemade dressing!

Got delivery while on vacation. Pizzas weren't amazing but definitely decent. Prime rib = yum

  • *****

Hands down a must try. Great food. Great service. Family and friends own and run it. Fresh fresh fresh.
Pizza was spot on. Wood fired and super good. I'm from out of town and getting on a cruise ship tomorrow. Maya was our server and very accommodating. The atmosphere is fun ( can be loud) but makes it that much more fun.

  • *****

Terrific place. Had rhe ribeye steak that was awesome.
Our waiter, Matteo was fantastic. Very attentive .

First off, I'm a little offended by the 4 stars. This place is amazing. 5 stars for sure. The food is authentic the prices are almost TOO low. To be honest I tipped $10 on a $15 tab. I felt like I should be paying more. I love this place. Never in my life have I wanted to marry an actual restaurant, but tonight I actual felt a romantic connection. I love this place.

  • *****

This place is amazing!!! ALL the staff are extremely personable, this is a must stop place to eat!!!

  • *****

Food was excellent, service was incredible, very affordable and friendly!!! You have to try their meatballs!!!

  • *****

Awesome Italian food. Very fresh. Made to order. We split app, salad, entree and dessert. Served us family style. Great service. The best Italian in Cape Canaveral. Can't wait to go back. Try the meatballs. Excellent!!!

  • *****

I heard the food here was great so wanted to try a bit of everything. Got the capresa salad, calamari - two types the Dubzy was my FAVORITE! A MUST try! As well as the eggplant stacked appetizer. The food was delicious, the place is impecable, great presentation , and the best part is the service. From the waiters , who constantly checked in to see if I needed anything , to the executive chef/ owner who came over to ask if I enjoyed the meal, as well as his partners Dennis, Mike and Nick. Everyone was extremely welcoming. I will definitely be back !

Zarrellas is a Home Run! Myself and a group of friends had dinner only a few days after they opened and we were all impressed. Pizza from the wood fired oven was delicious. Then we sampled the menu and it was all good or better....real authentic sauce or gravy as it should known and great service. My girlfriend had the fresh SNAPPER SPECIAL and I had the VEAL SINATRA(killer dish at a great price). The beer and wine had a limited but well thought out selection...We will be back!

  • *****

Fabulous dinner on their opening night. So wonderful to share their joy of a job well done and a dream come true. Congratulations, and thanks for a superb meal and atmosphere!!!

  • *****

My family and I were staying at the Radisson across the way and decided to go to Zarellas for dinner. The food was great and so were their prices. I loved the eggplant stack'd, it was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. My family loved the garlic knots they offer 12 for only $3.50, we couldn't get enough! Our daughters loved the penne vodka, calamari and pizza. We finished up our meals with with some gelato, tiramisu was my personal favorite. The staff was so warm and welcoming. We returned for lunch on Saturday and had their wood fired pizza, this will be our new spot when visiting Cape Canaveral. Thank you for the great food and service!

  • *****

My family and I enjoyed an amazing dinner here on our vacation! By far the best meal we've ever had in Cape Canaveral. The food is cooked to order even their pasta (which gave the pasta a nice bite) the ingredients are fresh you taste it with every bite. I recommend trying the cheese steak! As well as any of their pizzas made in the coal fired pizza. I will definitely be coming back for more!

  • *****

Our group started with a stacked mozzarella app (a special) that was delicious as well as the meatballs, garlic knots and calamari with its slight spicy kick that gave it a unique twist! So good! My daughter had the Chicken Piccata which she said was cooked well and the best she had ever tasted. I had the Veal Sinatra which was delicious! The sauce was so flavorful and well balanced! The risotto served with was yummy as well. I was impressed with the quality for such reasonable prices. We loved the gelato and especially the cannoli. There were three small ones which were the perfect filling to pastry ratio. Will definitely be back when vacationing in the area again!

  • *****

Had lunch with 3 friends today. Service was superb. Food excellent. I had the red snapper which was lightly breaded and served with a tasty sauce with broccoli rabe. Friend had the meatball and risotto. Meatball was large and flavorful. Second friend had the pork with red sauce and fresh ricotta which was prepared perfectly. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from their great selection. Owners are obviously very concerned with quality. Cape Canaveral needs a serious Italian restaurant. Zarella's more than qualifies.

  • *****

This establishment rivals one of the finest, (if not the Finest Italian Reasturants I have ever had the pleasure of dining in! (And I am 80 yrs old and, IM ITALIAN! Both the service and food tops others I have dined on. Menu choices are superb, table atmosphere is the finest! Silverware is spotless, seating chairs are cushioned and lighting is both soft and balanced! Kudos to all!

  • *****

Best Italian restaurant in the STATE! Came in with a table of six. We had Veal parm, chicken Parm. The rigatoni special, and homemade pizza. No heat lamps, no microwave , everything freshly made. I felt like I was home on a Sunday afternoon and my grandmother made the sauce!! UNBELIEVABLY GOOD Italian food. We had a wonderful waitress named Rachel and the owner was on site and super friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for great tasting authentic home made Italian food

  • *****

Very pleasant atmosphere. I am an Italian cook (and a good one) their food was excellent. Wonderful sauce that I could'nt of made it better in my own kitchen!! About the only negative was the Red Sox hat worn by one of the owners!! Lol. Redsox SUCK!!

  • *****

Good pizza, great service, very good appetizers. We didn't try an entre but ordered the brick oven pizza and the eggplant stack. The crust was perfect. Crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. insideA very flavorful sauce and a generous spread of cheese. The eggplant stack was a unique dish which why we tried it. It was a tomato caprese recipe with tried eggplant instead and it was very good. We'll definitely come back next time we're at the cape.

We were staying at the Country Inn and Suites and the delivery time was under 15 minutes. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. My daughter has a peanut allergy and they assured us that the food that we ordered was peanut-free. My chicken Parmesan was perfectly cooked and delicious. The pizza was flavorful and had just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. We loved it and will order from them again when we are in the area. It was so nice to feel like we had a home cooked meal so far away from home.

  • *****

I had traditional spaghetti and meatball and it was the best I've had in years. Sauce, pasta, meatball all cooked from scratch and you can tell it is made from scratch and amazing! The ricotta cheese was WOW! Also home made

  • *****

Fun and relaxing atmosphere. Wait staff energetic and helpful. Especially Luke! Rockfish and shrimp with sauted spinach is delicious! Garlic knots and marinara sauce were a hit!! Love this place!

  • *****

    Absolutely amazing food and service!

  • *****

This place is in a location that does it no justice. The food is the best I've had in a long time. The place who's name starts with fat and ends with Snook could not hold a candle to the quality and the prices are great for the level of food. Try it ,go early and be ready to be surprised.

We were recommended to come here from the Doubletree hotel we were staying at, and I have to say it was the right choice! The food was very fresh and delicious. Our server Mateo was very attentive and made our experience pleasurable. The only regret we have is that we live in South Carolina and are not closer. We will definitely come back next time we come to Florida.

  • *****

Had a wonderful meal with family and friends there a few weeks back everything was perfect.
I highly recommend anyone in cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral or Merritt Island to go and enjoy a fabulous meal there

Best food ever!! We will be back! Beats any Italian I've had in brevard county! Service the way it should be!

  • *****

Had dinner here on Saturday night had a very pleasant server who was knowledgeable and efficient. At the onset we were told that all food was cooked to order and that would add some time to our order before it was served. We were pleasantly surprised when our food arrived it was fresh and actually releasing steam!
Although we waited a couple of extra minutes our server kept us informed as far as the time frame of our food.It was delicious, we overheard a women complaining about the wait time however as with us
I overheard the server explaining to them how the food was prepared to order and to allow a bit more time than usual. We enjoyed everything we ordered,Eggplant stack, Pork chop special and a steak special both were cooked as expected and we will be back.. Some people just can't be pleased.. Great job Zarellas!!

  • *****

This place has the most authentic Italian food in Florida, absolutely delicious and I've been to Italy! Service what excellent, owners are hands on. Totally recommend this place to everyone.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend
Who had been there in the past and raved about how great the food is so we walked in
and they were busy, its Friday so we expected to wait its wasn't that long after we were seated. Our server came over quickly introduced himself and began to explain that everything was cooked to order. Our server (Jay) began explaining the specials with photos of them on an IPad which was very cool. I ordered the Ling with seafood special it was unbelievably tasty and pasta was aldente
We also ordered Chicken Sicilian and that to was excellent and they served them with garlic knotts! Jay provided us with a great experience. His service and attention to us was terrific, Great food great service, great place to have dinner. Oh almost forgot the song sweet caroline played and the staff began to sing and before you knew it the entire restaurant was singing.Again great place.

  • *****

    Food is AMAZING here.

They were busy but got a high top table. Last table available and only 2 seats available at the bar. We ordered eggplant stack appetizer, Parpadella Alfredo with chicken, & chicken Piccata, a draft beer & a Tuscan Chianti. The beer and wine pours were generous a very good. The appetizer was excellent. The meals would have been 5* except the all the pastas were overcooked, definitely not al dente. We had also ordered 2 side house salads that never came. We asked our waiter & he said they had been crossed off our order so be thought we had cancelled them with another employee. Told him we had not cancelled them so he thought someone else had gotten our salads.

  • *****

Ordered the 11" wood fired pizza and I must say it was amazing. Got pepperoni, pineapple, and peppers. Best pizza I've had in a long time. No complaints. Showed up with a party of nine on a Friday night and the staff accommodated us with very minimal wait. Service was on point with the refills and never saw the bottom of my glass.

I have been looking for a pizza in Cape Canaveral for years!! I found I needed to travel far, then I discovered Zarrella's, they have the best I've had in the 30 years I have been coming to Cape Canaveral!!!

Greetings. I dined here with a friend tonight. I was excited when I walked in -- beautiful decor, the wait staff was appropriately attired and I was excited for a nice comfortable Italian dinner. At first we couldn't hear the hostess or waiter when they spoke to us. The noise level was too high. However, the food was pretty good -- nice salad, fresh seafood entree, delicious cannolies. I was confused as to what type of restaurant this was. Again I thought it was fine dining, but the big tv screen on the back wall distracted me -- but no one was watching it. Our table was at the back of the room so we were in the middle of chatter while the wait staff was busy getting beverages or cleaning the tables. Then when Sweet Caroline was playing on the very loud Musak, the wait staff joined in and shouted the chorus. Very odd. I suggest you lose the tv screen, calm down the waiters and continue to serve your fine food in a semi romantic style. You don't need the gimmicks.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere. great staff

Awesome authentic Italian! We had a large pizza with four toppings delivered. The experience was great from start to finish. The people answering the phone are nice and the delivery girl was too! They don't even charge a delivery fee! They told me 30 minutes but she was here in 25. We will definitely be back to try other things!

  • *****

This place was amazing!!! The family and I decided to try it after a long day at the beach. Jay was our server and he was awesome. The whole place was very kept and all the staff were above friendly . I've not had that kind of customer service in many years. Oh and how could I forget the food. I have no words. It was out of this world. This will definitely be a place we return to with every vacation we take near Cocoa Beach.

  • *****

We love this place! There are lots of options for any palate and one or all of the owners are always there to make sure your meal is excellent. You may go there alone, but you will have made a friend before you leave.

  • *****

Best Italian food on the beach. I look forward to my next visit. Owners are very hands on coming to each table to check on everything. Will recommend to everyone.

Amazing once again. Just visited and brought friends from home. Everyone was very happy. Great job guys !!!! 1/15/17

3/19/17. Still the best. If you haven"t been there, you really have to go. Thanks guys. Amazing as usual

We had such a lovely dinner here this past a Friday evening! When the staff burst into Sweet Caroline and engaged the guests in singing along, it made our evening. The staff were very attentive and so obviously work together as a team. Well done!!

  • *****

Delicious meal for adults and kids alike!!

  • *****

Probably our best dinner of the trip. Started wth the eggplant stack'd - amazing, ordered a special entree of pork chops and shrimp with sauted spinach, and added risotto as well. All were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Ordered spaghetti and meatball for the kiddo and snuck a bite - it was fab as well. We finished the meal with tiramisu and cannolis, wow!! Definitely don't miss it!

  • *****

Delicious pizza & house salad is very good, not your usual. Service was good but staff seemed disorganized & there was no one in charge. Hopefully this is just growing pains because they have a good thing going there!

  • *****

The best food and the owners are always on site! New items to try all the time!

  • *****

Awesome service - I love the way the specials are displayed with an i-pad so you can see what you're ordering! If the ribeye and shrimp Sinatra is available and you don't order it, you should go to jail. It was perhaps the BEST meal I have ever eaten. The Caesar salad dressing is home made and I wish I was eating it right now!

  • *****

Went here last night with a party of nine for dinner. We had a reservation so we're seated immediately.
Menu is diverse but not overwhelming with too many choices which is good.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server showed us the specials of the day with an iPad which I thought was fantastic.
You get an explanation of what it is with a visual.
Not going to lie here, they were having some issues last night with serving, etc however we were able to put that aside and had a very delicious dinner.
We ordered everything from Chicken to pasta to veal, meatballs etc
My dish in particular was the best I have ever eaten....yes that includes Europe.
I ordered the bucatini carbonara and the only disappointment was that they were out of bucatini...don't know how that is possible but I was advised by our server that they could make the same dish with any other pasta. I chose the linguini which was fine with me.
The carbonara came out and looked delicious. The dish was then topped with the egg and mixed table side. You never see this in most Restaurants that serve this dish so I was happy to see that they took the extra step to do this. Needles to say the Carbonara was one of the best dishes I have EVER eaten and comes a close second to one I had in Paris. I spoke to chef at the end of the meal and advised him that his dish was spot on and one of the best I have ever had.
Staff and owner could not have been nicer and apologized for the tough night they were having. The owner John then sent a tray of cannoli to the table which he didn't have to do but was very thoughtful. They were also delicious.
Needless to say, I will definitely be back as I will be in town for a few more weeks and I think the food is exceptional.
I know for sure if I were a permanent resident in this area, it would be a go to place for me.
Go and try it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

What a great new Italian restaurant in Cape Canaveral! Came with a friend for lunch just to check it out. Tried their calamari and eggplant stack. Everything was outstanding and beautifully presented. All food is fresh and cooked to order. Homemade balsamic and mozzarella on the eggplant stack. The marinara sauce for the calamari was excellent. Will need reservations for dinner! Place was filling up quickly at lunch.

  • *****

Attentive service. Excellent presentation. Had a wood fired pizza for a quick dinner. Was pleasantly surprised by this strip mall location. Would recommend for a good and easy informal Italian nite out.

  • *****

We came for pizza, so that's what we had. Flavorful sausage on thin crispy crust--perfect. However, the specials of the day and full-course meals sounded terrific too. Will definitely be back to try them.

Just arrived from New York and starving we stopped in for quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Nice place, clean and friendly staff. Ordered the meatball salad - WOW the sauce was homemade, meatballs made from pork, beef and veal just like I make at home. The scoop of fresh ricotta a delicious touch. House salad fresh, crisp and cold. We are here for the month and excited to come back again and sample some of the other items on the menu. Oh the gelato yup it was to die for.

What a FUN place! Great food and great fun. Pizza is amazing, everything we ate was delicious. Great service and the entire restaurant busted out together singing Neil Diamond Sweet Caroline and other good songs that would come on. My family had a fabulous time and even more fabulous meal the night before our cruise!

  • *****

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly! Overall, great food, great service and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

I always have a great time when dining there. The last time though we had a bit of a mix up with the server. The manager and the owner came over promptly and we were able to figure out the mix up. I have to say that after experiencing how they handled a less than perfect meal I will be back for sure. The difference between good and great is how you handle the speed bumps in life.
They know how to treat their customers and listen to them! Keep up the great job :-)

We heard about Zarrella's from a trio of ladies cruising on the NCL Epic. It was right by Budget when we returned to pickup our rental car; an awesome 2017 Mustang!. Greg was opening the convertible top so I went in and ordered a lrg pie, their meatball app & a Caesar salad to go. Everything was delicious & I def want their meatball recipe!! Best I've ever had!

Good food! We went there on a Friday night when we couldn't get into a seafood restaurant. They told us that there would be a "pause" because all the food is made to order. Also, no heat lamps. Ok. We got our salads and then we waited for our entrees. So, this is where I have an issue. All the entrees came out at different times. Like a 15 min difference between the first and last plates! No. That can't happen. I happen to own a restaurant and food can be timed! It doesn't and shouldn't sit under a heat lamp! They are a new restaurant so I'm cutting them some slack for that. Also, the garlic knot that comes with all the entrees came out way after the entrees were delivered. Almost dessert time? That's an easy fix too. Get somebody on the bread station! Other than that the food was good! Good flavor and fresh and hot. So, a couple of fixes and this will be a great new place to go!

We are really happy for a decent Italian place near home. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bread sticks were really good.

My husband had the Sinatra Chicken. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, mushroom sauce was good and risotto was not over cooked. My son had the tilapia, shrimp again was perfect (I had his spinach and it was awesome). My daughter tried the carbonara and she enjoyed it. I had the penne vodka and it was good (a little salty but I don't use a lot of salt). The sauce ratio on everything was good (nothing was swimming in sauce).

Our daughter ordered the gelato sandwich and it was crazy good.

The table next to us order a pizza and it was cooked Jersey perfect (well done not crazy cheese). We will try that next time.

And to preference this...we are Jersey Italians so it passed the first test.

  • *****

Great lunch today. Zarrella's is a welcome addition to the area. We had a fried eggplant caprizi, a meatball sub and a meatball salad. The food was fantastic, atmosphere is very nice, and service was fast and friendly. One star is docked for lack of WiFi and no sweet iced tea. Free delivery and easy parking. Back access road to Central makes it easy to get into.

    We will be back!

** Had lunch again there today. Sweet tea! Add half a star. Had the meatball calzone. Fantastic! Portion was huge.

*** Had lunch again today. This time had the wood fired pizza. Fantastic! I'm bumping my review up to five stars. Cloth napkins! This place is quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite. They'll deliver to the Florida Brewing Company (across the street) for free.

  • *****

Favorite Italian restaurant- authentic, family owned. Not just pizza but "delicious" Italian dishes. Really enjoy dining here. Clean and quick service. Fun to watch them "twirl" the pizza dough in the air. The kids get a kick out of that. The "garlic knots" were stale this time. Didn't really eat them.

  • *****

Nice to have a good Italian restaurant in Cape Canaveral. Nice ambiance, great service, really good food. I had the meatball salad. Monday is buy one meatball get one free so I had two with my salad and it was more than enough. We also had the eggplant stack appetizer and the special of linguine noodles, crab, clam and shrimp. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it! If you are in the area, try it out. They won't disappoint. They even have pastina noodles with butter and Parmesan for the kids!

Came across this place on vacation, stoped in around 730 it was very busy but was accommodated very quickly the food was great considering I myself work at an Italian restaurant. Wine selection was better than almost everywhere in the area. And service was fantastic the chef even came out to check on us. Will definitely be back again

Great atmosphere and awesome staff. The food was delicious. I had the special which was a dish that consisted of baked Lobster and risotto which was worth the cost. We also ordered a pizza (personal size) and it was one of the best pizzas we had ever had. I loved the staff singing along to songs. We can't wait to come back!

  • *****

Awesome food and atmosphere. We celebrated my mother's birthday there, we were very impressed. Everything was fresh and tasted great.

The family was asking for pizza and we are down in Cape Canaveral, so I found this place on Yelp.
It's a bit hard to find, due to the small sign, that is part of a larger one, but we were finally able to find it.

The service here is fantastic. We were greeted very warmly at the door, and simply wanted to take the order to go, however, at the to-go counter, there is a gelato counter and they instantly offered my girls a tasting of whatever flavor they wanted.
Well needless to do, they all ordered Gelato and we took out the pizza as well.

The pizza was very good, the gelato was very good and the service was very good. Trifecta!

  • *****

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I had the brick oven pizza and it was made to perfection.
Hand made thin crust cooked in a wood oven, the only way to make an authentic Italian pizza

Zarrella's - A New Kid on the Block

After hearing good things about this new eatery which opened on October 28, 2016, we decided to order a pizza delivery from Zarrella's. in late December. We ordered the Wood fired 15" pie, $14 and since it was Half-Priced Apps. Thursday, we decided to also add the highly recommended Eggplant Stack'd, $8 to the order. Luckily, although we live in Cocoa Beach, we are within the 5 mile delivery zone. Despite the fact that NASA workers were having a large party on the premises, our order was delivered correctly in a reasonable amount of time. Both items arrived hot and were delicious. We were very satisfied at the ease of ordering, the length of delivery time plus the taste and temperature of the food. Since we enjoyed the appetizer and the pizza so much, we decided to visited the restaurant with another couple. The eatery is located at a corner location in a lovely strip mall on Astronaut Blvd in Cape Canaveral, FL.

One recent Wednesday evening the four of us arrived at the restaurant around 5:45 pm. We easily found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. The eatery was starting to get busy; we were shown to a table next to the large bar and open kitchen. The Black cloth tablecloths and maroon napkins added a note of sophistication to the lovely modern decor. Large picture windows that look out onto the parking lot and street are dressed in pretty patterned cloths. Soft music played in the background until the song "Sweet Caroline" played and then everyone joined in singing along - what fun! As the tables filled up, the eatery got quite noisy but not objectionably so. Everyone was having a good time.

Once our server, Mara, told us it was Wine Night Wednesday, both couples decided to order wine. Diners receive half off on bottled wines starting at 5 pm on Thursdays. As I glanced around the dining area, just about every table had bottles of wine ordered.
Both couples took half of the bottles home. The two ladies at our table ordered Bucatini Carbonara, $15 and we enjoyed the dish very much. I just wished that there was a bit more of the pancetta. Our meals arrived with a plate of four large garlic knots for us all to share. The knots were a bit heavy but good nonetheless. My husband ordered the appetizer, Eggplant Stack'd and he generously shared it with the rest of us- what a guy!. Not much was left for him but he enjoyed the remainder of it. He also ordered one of the Special of the Night, Lobster Francaise, (then $25, now $30) served with Risotto. It was expensive but he savored it. Our other male diner ordered the Penne Vodka, $15 and he was less enthusiastic about his dish and left some on his plate. He probably would not order it again. He thought that it was a bit bland.

Although the restaurant was packed, service was good. The staff worked as a team delivering dishes, refilling water glasses, bringing ice and removing plates. We will all definitely be back to try other items on the menu. We met four neighbors of ours who arrived a bit later and all of them were also enjoying their meals as we left. Three of their dishes were Spaghetti & Meatballs, $15, Eggplant Stack'd as a entree and Chicken Parmesan, $20. We will all definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I hope to return for lunch one day and order their Three Cheese Calzone, $10. Lunch is served between 11Am and 2pm. Other weekly promotions are Meatball Monday, BOGO and BOGO Pizza Tuesday. Early Bird Specials are 20% off between 3 pm and 5 pm. The several owners of this restaurant, former CNN Space Reporter John Zarrella, his son Michael and his son's longtime friends plan to open another location down the road in the near future. In the meantime we will continue to enjoy coming to this location.

I visited Cape Canaveral last week before my cruise. My cousin graciously treated me to this new restaurant. I had an amazing meal and experience here. Their buttery bread knots are to die for! Great salad and chicken parmigiana. Linen table cloths are a nice, classy,Italian added touch. All the wait staff was beyond friendly. Prices were reasonable. Looking at other table's pizzas made my mouth water. The whole restaurant broke out in song to "Sweet Caroline." A must visit restaurant when in Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral.

Great pizza and service! We were seated right away even though it looked like a busy Saturday night. We ordered two pizzas, and they came out pretty quick. Crust is thin but still thick enough to be a little chewy. Toppings were all high quality and the big chunks of sausage appeared to be homemade. The sauce was perfect, not too strong or too sweet and had good tomato flavor. Prices are reasonable for the size and quality of the pizza. We had some gelato to finish our meal and it was also good. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

My husband and I are on a mission to find the best pizza ever....so far Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza tops the list.

This place gave it a good run for the money.....It would have been a 5 star review if the pizza was a more well done...it was a little undercooked... however, the flavor and toppings were terrific.

Stopped by for a quick lunch while waiting for friends to arrive the day before our cruise. Completely blown away by the amazing food. I would drive another 13 hrs all the way back just to eat here again!

This place is so yummy! They make all the food fresh. We tried a wood fired pizza and a chicken parm sub with dessert. Huge portions, great prices on the lunch menu-took home a ton of leftovers. Mini cannoli was great, and waitress super nice. Coming back soon!

Very good. All the food is made to order and served immediately. No heat lamps. We enjoyed the wood fire pizza. A little chewy. Not too thin. Nice presentation. Our server, Megan, was a sweetheart.

We have dined here several times. The meatball ricotta is my favorite..add the Caprese salad, some garlic knots and wine and I am a happy camper...the pizza is amazing ( had sausage and fresh mushrooms)..and family style comfort food--> my vote goes to the Orchiette sausage.

We go there all the time now, this is THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD in Brevard County. Dustin is the chef, he knows what he is doing and he has no qualms about substitutions in a dish. You can't beat the veal, eggplant stack, gelato, mini cannoli's and all the food. Great ambiance, we now know all four owners and they provide the best service around. Nick and Dennis are the floor managers and they hop right back to the kitchen and help out when they get busy. Servers are well trained and they really have stepped up to the plate! Can't beat that!

As locals, we decided to try out Zarrella's. Walked in to order take out. The restaurant was quite busy during this holiday season. We were quickly welcomed and taken care of by the presumed GM, Denny. Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline comes across the restaurant radio and the entire restaurant joined in a sing along. Now we are home enjoy the most authentic Italian dinner that we've experienced in this area. Finished off this great experience with the best mini cannolis!!

You've got to try this. The food is cooked to perfection and the staff service is great. Everything is cooked from scratch so don't be in a hurry, but it's not ridiculous. Good wine choices. You wouldn't think food this good would be at a location like this.
